Safari Overview
Enjoy 3 days safari in Mikumi national park which is just 5-6 hours’ drive from Dar es salaam city center, the park is rich in wildlife like buffalo, elephant, lions, wildebeests, Masai giraffe, hippos, impalas, crocodiles, There are also, zebras and wart hogs. Most of the animals can be seen in all seasons, accommodations in Tanswiss lodge, also itinerary can be customized on the need and budget.
DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
Morning pickup from the hotel/airport in Dar es salaam drive to Mikumi national park 5-6 hours’ drive with stop in Morogoro for hot lunch, take a short break before drive to the park for afternoon and evening game drive, great animals sightings like impala, zebra, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes and many more while dinner and overnight at Tanswiss lodge/Vamos hotel.
DAY 2: MIKUMI GAME DRIVE
After breakfast from the lodge with packed lunches enjoy full day game drive inside the park, animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephant, you will stop for lunches before proceed with game drive to hippos and crocodiles pool and during evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Tanswiss lodge/ Vamos hotel.
DAY 3: MIKUMI NATIONAL TO DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast with packed lunches enjoy en route game drive while you are departing to Dar es Salaam.
